We can behave a certain way without being aware of it. Amy does that all the time on Veep. She’s always doing stuff where she thinks she’s in control but she’s completely not, and I don’t know why she’s doing some of the stuff she does. That’s what makes it rich and fun. Even Alice [in You Can’t Take it With You] did that too. She was constantly betraying her own feelings in our show.
